Description:
Early blowback pistol made by Gabilondo y Cia with 3” barrel having fixed front and rear sights with prominent slide scallops. Manufacturer and patent markings on left side of slide with the model and caliber reference on the right side. Eibar proof marks with “F” reflecting production in 1933, the automatic pistol proof repeated on the left side of the slide. Full serial number on the right side of the frame and the encircled “G.C.” on the tang. Fitted with black plastic grips, each panel molded with the Llama trademark logo. Lanyard ring present. Push button detachable magazine, the right side with two indicator slots, fixed floorplate. Synopsis: Early Spanish pocket pistol made in 1933 by Gabilondo y Cia, with recessed slide, features similar to Colt 1911. Condition: VG with wear reflecting moderate to extensive field use, the grip straps having largely toned to gray. Extractor with slight bend, likely reblued. Left grip with a glued repair; the right grip with a missing chip at top rear. Comparable condition magazine with a faded floorplate. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the more unusual pre-Spanish Civil War/pre-WWII Llama pocket pistols. ~~Insured shipping fee of $45; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
