Near new Llama made by Gabilondo y Cia in Vitoria based on the full sized Colt Government Model modified to have a ventilated rib, top mounted loaded indicator, and a horizontally adjustable rear sight. The left side of the slide is marked "LLAMA" along with the caliber. The right side of the slide is marked with the manufacturer's name and location in Spain. Imported by Stoeger Industries, then in New Jersey. A highly polished blued gun, fitted with smooth wood grips, each panel inletted with a "LLAMA" logoed escutcheon. Serrated front strap. Correct magazine with 8 indicator holes on the right side and a detachable floorplate with a serrated toe.

Gorgeous, full sized, heavy duty Llama Gabilondo y Cia pistol with ventilated rib and smooth grips.
Condition:
99++% of its original blue, the right side of the slide having a scratch extending down from the ejection port as pictured. Gripstraps and grips in the same condition. Magazine with insertional wear. A big, full sized Llama, occasionally referenced as the IX-A, immaculately polished, from 1980, just begging to be taken to the range!
