Highly attractive and uniquely configured full size Llama pistol with contoured frontstrap, made in 1946.

Description:

Standard configuration Llama Especial with 5 inch barrel, having fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide referencing manufacturer, location in Elgoibar and caliber. Eibar proofing on left frame with "Q" reflecting 1946. Automatic pistol proof repeated on left side of slide and exposed chamber. Right side of slide marked 'LLAMA' ESPECIAL. Full serial number on right side of frame. Disassembly shows matching slide and barrel with assembly number 803. Vertically serrated wood grips. Push button magazine release for single column magazine having 7 indicator holes and an enclosed floorplate.

Condition:

VG+ with sharp edge wear and thinning of front and backstraps as carefully photographed suggesting moderate but careful use. Comparable conditon grips that are oil darkened and have a scattering of light handling marks. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A uniquely configured single action 9mm Llama from 1946.
