The 9mm 1908 blank chamber P.08 pistol is an uncommon gun. The 4"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling.; The gun retains approx. 92% bllue with the grip straps fading. Approx. 50% of the straw finish remains. All parts are matching inclluding the two wood bottom magazines which are numbered in large numerals. The grips are not numbered and the right inside panel has Ramsey carved in it, the GI who brought it home??. A hold open, numbered to the gun, has been installed. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM logo and the chamber is blank. Imperial proofs and a military acceptance mark appear on the left side of the receiver. Other military acceptance marks are located on the left side of the barrel and breech bolt. The front grip strap is unit marked XII 39, probably signifying the 12th Infantry Regiment. The grips show some wear and handling though the checkering remains well defined.. The action functions correctly. Included is a fine hard shell holster with the makers mark under the flap. It is marked Werfeld & Co. over Barner over 1915. It has an Imperial marked tool, and an extra magazine. This is a super pre-WWI Luger rig. Don't miss it!
