"1917 Erfurt Military Luger (PR54876)

"

This WWI 1917 dated Erfurt military P08 Luger pistol is in fine condition. About 180,000 were made in 1917. The 4' 9mm barrel has a very good bore with frosting in the grooves. The gun retains apporx. 90% blue and 75% straw. The rear of the sear shows some pitting. With the exception of the correct type mismatched wood base magazine, all numbers, including the firing pin, hold open, and grips, match. The chamber is dated 1917 and the toggle has the crown over ERFURT logo. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. The action functions correctly. This is a desirable 1917 WWI Erfurt Luger.
