Description:
"About 8,000 7.65mm (30 Luger) 1906 American Eagle Lugers were produced. The early 1906 American Eagle Luger is distinguished by four features: 1. The late flat toggle knobs; 2. The US eagle over the chamber; 3. The grip safety; and 4. The unmarked thumb safety area. THe extractor is marked LOADED. This gun has a fine bore with bright, sttong rifling and some frosting in the grooves. All the parts, including the grips, are matching. The toggle is marked DWM and GERMANY is on the ftont of the frame below the serial number. It has approx. 85% bright blue and the strawed parts are bright. The grips are fine with good checkering and some wear at the bottoms. The magazine has an unmarked wood base. The action functions correctly. This is a very nice example of the scarce 1906 American Eagle Luger in 7.65mm.
