The Bundes Heer Lugers were post-WWII reworks of captured and surrendered Lugers for the Austrian Federal Army, the Bundes Heer. The key identification feature is the Austrian BH proof on the left side of the receiver just below the takedown lever. It appears that only a couple thousand were reworked. The 4"" 9mm barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 97% of its rework finish. The toggle has the Msuser banner. The serial nimber, 2019, is on the front of the frame and left side of the slide. The small parts have either 19 or are unnumbered. The grips are unnumbered and the mismatched alumnium base magazine has eagle over 37 proofs. The grips are excellent. The action functions correctly. Don't miss this very scarce WWII Mauser rework for the Austrian Bundes Heer.
