Only 100 Siamese 9mm artillery Lugers were produced, all in the 3450v to 3550v serial range. This gun is serial number 3465v. The identifying characteristics of the Mauser Siamese Artillery Luger are 1. the Mauser banner on the toggle; 2. the Siamese lion's head marking on the rear frame above the lanyare loop; 3. the 8"" barrel with artillery rear sight; and 4. the serial number. This gun has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. It retains approx. 99% of its blue and straw. The serial number is on the left side of the chamber, under the barrel, and on the frame ftont (with the v). The last two digits (65) are on the take down, side plate, trigger, sear, safety, rear sight, the three tpgg;e sections, firing pin, and grips. The commercisal crown over U proof is on the frame and toggle. The rear toggle has the Mauser banner logo. The chamber is dated 1936 and the extractor is marked GELADEN. It has the standard stock lug and hold-open. The upper safety postion is marked GESICHERT. The rear of the frame has the four symbol Siamese markings. The matching grips are excellent. The correct style aluminum base magazine is not matching. The action functions correctly but with a very heavy trigger pull. This may be the only Siamese Mauser artilllery Luger you will ever see, especially in excellent condition. Jump on it!
