Guns International #: 101723003
Seller's Inventory #: PR55027
This appears to be a 1920s era 9mm DWM German police Luger. The 4"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The pistol retains approx. 97% blue and 90% straw, The toggle has the DWM logo and it appears that the chamber was blank. Later, 7.65 was stamped and crossed out on the chamber. The serial number, 8433n, is matching on the barrel, frame, magazine (#2), and small parts. The barrel, frame, slide, and toggle have the commercial crown over N proof mark. The side plate is numbered on the side and bottom and the grips and firing pin are unnumbered. The sear has the additional police safety spring on the top. The front grip strap is marked SP. Bn. 727.(crossed out) 1910. This may be for the Potscam police district. The grips are fine with a little wear at the bottom. The action functions correctly. This would be a great gun to fill that police Luger hole in your collection.
