"Iron Cross Commemorative Luger 9MM (COM2563)

"

Limited edition issued by the American Historical Foundation. This beautiful luger is marked ""BYF"", for Mauser, and dated 1941. Bore is excellent. Pistol is finished in ""French"" gray, the same color as found on high grade rifles and shotguns going back many years for contrast against the gold colors. This pistol is etched with oak leaves against a stippled background. The side plate depicts the German Iron Cross surrounded with gold. The muzzle has the oak leaf etching and stippled ground. Small parts are gold plated. The grips are beautifully figured walnut. Pistol comes with glass top presentation case. A very impressive ensemble.
