Description: Sale Pending !! This 1906 Bern Waffenbrik, Ser No 17817 was mfg at the Bern Facility in Bern , Switzerland. There were exacty 17,874 mfg.pf this model mfg at this plant. My references for info are from The Luger Handbook by Aaron Davis - 1997 and The Luger Story by John Walter. Accordinngly these Bern Plant Luger's were considered the best in design and free of the defects found in some German manufacturers. Undoubtebly caused by Wartime requirements. (World War I and Post economic issues) This Bern Luger is in Excellent condition (Abt 99%), The bluing is about 99% and the Wood Grips are 100%. Being the condition is so pristine I suspect that this was a Bern Plant remanufactured product.
