Very high condition Model 1906 Swiss, Cross in Shield, all matching.

Description:

Standard M1906 Cross in Shield military with 4 ¾” barrel having a drift adjustable front sight and fixed V-notch rear sight. Deeply impressed cross in shield over chamber with usual DWM over middle toggle link. Full serial number under barrel and on forward frame. Numbered small parts are all matching, including the grips, each with an impressed “3”. Magazine with tinned body and walnut base marked with a “2”. Pistol was decommissioned in 1957 as refected by “P57” marked on the left side of the receiver.

Condition:

Approximately 97-98% original rust blue with minimal sharp edge wear. Comparable condition strawed parts that do not evidence enhancement. Sharply checkered grips show minimal oil staining but no cracks or losses. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Overall, an extremely nice and all original 1906 Cross in Shield Luger, now about one hundred years old!   A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
