Description:
This is a very clean looking 1914 DWM lugar (P-08) in 9mm. See description below for more information.
The DWM 1914 Luger is a 9mm Parabellum, toggle-action pistol, primarily produced by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) for the German military during WWI. It features a 4-inch barrel, rust-blued finish, walnut grips, and is marked with "DWM" on the toggle and "1914" (or later) on the chamber. It is highly prized for its quality, iconic design, and historical significance.
This Lugar's finish in very good condition, showing little wear. The bore is excellent. But, I believe this gun may have been reworked at sometime The grips are not original, some of the breech block parts do not have a serial number, Note the hand engraved serial number on the top of the breech block. Also, there are no factory marks on the underside of the barrel. The magazine does not have a matching serial number. See Photos
