Description: This is an original, all-matching DWM Artillery Luger manufactured in 1916, one of approximately 20,000 produced that year. In comparison, around 90,000 were made in 1917, making 1916 production relatively limited. The pistol retains approximately 96–97% of its original blued finish, with typical high-point edge wear on the muzzle, sideplate, and right frame rail. There is also a small area of old, minor corrosion on the right side of the barrel. The original matching grips remain intact, although the magazine is non-matching. The small components retain strong original straw finish. The bore is mint. Overall, this is a very attractive and well-preserved example.
