1941 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger Rig - With Capture Docs
Description: This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips (the left grip panel doesn't fit perfectly - there is a slight gap visible from the back). It comes as a rig with two original "Black Widow" magazines, an excellent 1941-dated holster, and an "Eagle 655" tool. It also comes with the original copies of the capture paper and Customs Declaration Form - both list this exact gun by serial number. This gun was captured by Louis Stein. There are also some print-outs from an internet search that provide some information about his life. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the front edges of the side rails. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there is some minor dulling on the back strap and some spotty discoloration (with some pin-pricking) on the front strap.
