Description: Synopsis: Attractive Bern 1924 Swiss Military Luger with earlier holster/shoulder strap, all matching. Description: Desirable and all matching Swiss Bern 1924 Military Luger with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. Inspection marking on left side of receiver. “P” release, marked "P.53" on left side of rail. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last two-three digits under the sideplate, barrel extension, on all three components of the toggle, trigger, and each of the grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Major components are rust blued with strawed take down lever, trigger, magazine release and ejector. Original checkered grips with prominent border. Correct magazine with wood plug marked with a "2". Earlier Holster from a model 1906 Luger dated “1910” with shoulder strap. Condition: VG+ original finish with sharp edge wear and thinning in usual locations, most pronounced over the grip safety. Small parts retaining most of their straw. Comparable condition grips, oil stained, with slightly blunted checkering. Magazine plug has a missing chip from the right side as photographed. Very bright bore with easily discernible rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG- holster, nicely marked on inner surface, leather strap retainer from rear of holster having separated from the body, easily restitched.
