"P" release on the front of the trigger guard. Forward frame recess marked "44" reflecting production 1944 (no month visible). W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered black plastic grips, each panel molded with an encircled "W/F" logo. Original magazines. Complete with earlier dated holster (1937) and strap.
