Gorgeous DWM 1906 Swiss Military Luger with the desirable Cross-in-Sunburst chamber marking. All matching with No Import Marks, the ownership inside right grip deserving more research, complete with crisp, original 1909 dated holster with strap. A wonderful rig that would be difficult to improve upon!

Standard configuration DWM 1906 Swiss military Luger, SN: 5456, cal 7.65mm Luger, NO IMPORT MARKINGS, 4.75? tapered barrel with drift adjustable fire blued front sight and fixed āVā notch rear sight. Chamber marked with Swiss Cross-in-Sunburst. Intertwined DWM on forward toggle link. Small Swiss proofs on left side of barrel, left receiver, and back of frame. Full serial number "5456" under barrel and forward frame. All small parts correctly matched to the last two-three digits except the walnut checkered grips, both with inspection markings but no SN, inner surface of right grip ownership inked "R. Doppler, Birsfelden Birseckstrasse 12". Original tinned body magazine with unmarked walnut base/aluminum inserts. Complete with brown leather military holster/strap, holster dated ā09ā.
Condition:
EXC with 99% bright original rust blue, minimal sharp edge wear at leading points in contact with holster, comparable condition straw with usual fading at forward portion of takedown lever, face of trigger, and bottom of safety. No suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips with oil staining, the checkering only minimally blunted. Grip screws with faded domes. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC holster with supple leather and original stitching showing no repairs, the manufacturer's marking and date easily visible between the belt loops on obverse surface.
