Description: DWM BRAZILIAN MILITARY Contract LUGER M1906 9x19mm Pistol C&R CIRCLE “B” Proofed 1 of 5000 Made Here we present a C&R German DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) Brazilian Contract Model 1906 Luger Pistol in 9x19mm, made in Berlin, Germany. DWM produced approximately 5,000 of these pistols for military sales to Brazil. Most examples exhibit heavy use and wear due to the high humidity in South America. These pistols were serial numbered from to approximately 5000. All of these pistols were produced on the old 1906 style frame with the grip safety, polished lower safety area, and no stock lug. The extractor is marked “CARREGADA”. Small circled “B” proof on the barrel and barrel extension. The overall condition is good. Refinished. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The numbers on the frame, barrel, toggle (interior), trigger, sideplate, grip safety, and magazine base. The grip interiors bear different numbers to the gun but match each other. Both panels have slender cracks: the left grip under the safety lever and the right grip (less noticeable) toward the top front. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4 inches.
