For sale is a 1917 Erfurt P.08 Luger, a desirable WWI-era German Army sidearm produced by the Royal Arsenal at Erfurt. The Erfurt Lugers are known for their extensive proofing and acceptance marks, and this example displays the characteristic crown/letter imperial stamps clearly.

This pistol features serial numbers on the major components, including the frame, receiver, barrel, and toggle assembly. Small parts appear properly numbered and inspector-marked, consistent with Erfurt production. Chamber is stamped “1917," and the toggle bears the Erfurt crown.

Finish appears reblued with minimal wear. The bore shows dark, but good rifling with minimal frosting—excellent considering its age and history. Includes 1 magazine. It is not the original magazine but is period correct. It also includes an original WWI iron cross.
