Built in 1977 this extraordinary presentation factory engraved Mauser Parabellum Luger SPORT model is one of less than 100 built. Knowledgeable collectors are aware that these were 100 total PLAIN models, with factory engraved examples being only a scant few, and the majority staying in Europe as these were never publicly imported into the USA. This is the finest and most embellished such example known, complete in the original box with all the accessories and original hang tag. The French gray finish is exquisite, note the fire blue trim parts and deluxe checkered walnut grips. Full fine English scrollwork is profusely and expertly engraved, even in the small and protected areas. Really a masterpiece and the finest example of the model that any collector could ever hope to own.
