LUGER 1908 GERMAN PREWAR

This is an all original Luger 1908 model, made around 1913 by DWM, right before the start of WWI. It is chambered in 9mm Para. The early pre-war Lugers had no stock lug on the back strap and no hold-open and are sought after by collectors. This particular gun is in all original condition with near perfect finish on the right side and on the grip straps. It also has perfect internals. Unfortunately, it was probably not stored properly and developed some pinprick pitting and blue wear on the left side and on top of the barrel, on the side plate and the left side of the frame. There is some blue wear on the underside of the trigger guard as well. The quality of commerical DWM bluening is a notch above its military blue. It is an all matching gun with correct original unnumbered magazine. Beautiful bore and grips. It is a very nice representative, all original example, priced at 50% discount to a comparable high condition gun.
