This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper \"Eagle 655\" military acceptance proofs. It has retained most of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. A small area of very light scratching on the left side of the barrel. A spot of discoloration on the back strap and on the right side of the frame. The magazines and bases have scratches. Fitted with an excellent set of matching-numbered, \"Eagle 655\" proofed wood grips. Comes with a matching magazine along with a second period-correct magazine that is not matching to the gun. The bore is shiny with strong rifling.
This sale includes a locking pistol case equipped with an ammo block and four after-market luger style magazines. None of these accessories are period correct.
