Luger Rig (Swiss) Dated May 1940 Personalized

Description:
Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on side-plate and receiver lug. All small parts with usual inspector markings. Forward frame recess marked “5 40” reflecting production date of May, 1940. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered chocolate brown plastic grips, each panel molded with an  Atinguely Taffers and dated “42” for 1942. The top of the barrel is personalized (engraved) “E. PlUSS BADEN”, and the side of the frame is distributor stamped W. Merkt. Given the excellent condition of this piece it would be extremely hard to upgrade.
