Description:
Mauser Banner 1940 dated Swedish Commercial Luger pistol, cal .30 Luger, SN: 6682w, with 3 7/8"inch barrel, fixed blade front sight and V-notch rear sight. Forward frame numbered "6682w" with serial number repeated on the left side of the barrel extension, the last two digits on all of the usual small parts. Two-piece checkered walnut grips are unnumbered but with military acceptances. Blued body magazine with aluminum plug closely numbered 802w/+.
Condition:
Beautiful 98% original blue, the salt blued barrel contrasting nicely against the other rust blued parts. Strawed small parts in comparable condition, no suggestion of enhancement, with slight fading of the trigger and more extensive fading/early oxidative changes on the safety lever. Fire blued grip screws with faded domes. Crisply checkered walnut grips with a few tiny losses on right panel. Comparable condition magazine with insertional wear. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
