Mauser byf Luger P08 9 mm Semi 4" BRL VG Bore Dated 1917 German Markings
Description: The Mauser byf Luger P08 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, featuring a 4-inch barrel and blued steel frame. It carries German markings on the frame and barrel bottom and is dated 1917. C&R okay. The pistol uses a toggle-lock action typical of the P08 design and includes a byf-stamped toggle link. The frame is fitted with checkered wooden grips in a brown finish, and the overall configuration reflects the standard military pattern of the era. Features include a front blade sight, a rear notched sight, a manual thumb safety, and a grip safety. The bore condition is described as very good. Metal surfaces show an aged, blued finish consistent with use and handling over time, with visible wear and patina from age. Proof and serial markings are present in multiple locations, with several matching numbers noted. The wooden grips are solid, and display handling wear typical of service use. Some components may have been refinished or replaced, as mixed parts from other Luger variations are possible.
