Police Rework German Luger P.08 Pistol
Description:
Serial #1389n, 9mm Para., 4” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some traces of mild freckling within the grooves. This is a post-war reworked pistol with removed chamber date and “DWM” marked toggle. This pistol is outfitted with a sear safety and the metal retains 95-97% of an armory re-applied blue finish that has faded and silvered along the edges and at the muzzle. The numbers are matching except for the rear toggle pin (the barrel was renumbered to match during the rework) and the forward toggle pin is a marked, oversized replacement (“Ü0,05m/m”). The original unit markings on the frontstrap have been scrubbed and are no longer visible. The checkered wooden grips are in very good shape with some flattening of the points and light wear throughout. Mechanically, the pistol is in fine shape overall and is accompanied by a single, non-matching wood base magazine. This is a great looking, shootable Luger that rates fine overall condition as refurbished. FFL or C&R
