Description:

This example is one of the last Swiss 1929 Lugers to have been assembled in Bern, the forward frame dated “7.45” (July 1945). Standard features include 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed “U” rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on side plate and bottom of barrel extension. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on trigger guard. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered black grips with magazines having dark brown plugs. Complete with nicely marked holster dated “42” having an unmarked shoulder strap.

Condition:

Near EXC original salt blue with minimal sharp edge wear in expected locations for a pistol that has only been holstered for a short time. Comparable condition grips and magazines. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics with both magazines. VG/EXC holster and strap. An extremely desirable Swiss 1929 Luger Rig, one of the last assembled, a real prize for any collector!
