Description: Synopsis: Super Attractive Swiss 1906-24, 1924, Military Luger, 16498, FB00802 Description: Standard configuration Bern 1906/24, .30 Luger, with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. “P 52" on left side of barrel extention, reflecting deaccession in 1952. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last few digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, and grip safety. Grips unnumbered. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Import markings. Correct magazine with tinned body and unmarked walnut plug. Condition: Beautiful, bright rust blue, at least 98% arsenal blue, only minimal sharp edge wear as one might expect from a pistol that has not seen much service. Comparable condition front and backstraps. Small parts with vivid straw colors, the grip screws blued rather than fire blued. Excellent grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
