WW2 German 1939 Luger 42 "Mauser" 9mm captured & identified grouping. All matching 1939 Mauser Luger with 2 magazines and maker marked 1939 holster + German medals. Grouping is identified with the Luger capture paper and the 66th Division American soldiers original papers, his DD-214 paper, his discharge paper, his photo, his Good Conduct Medal, sleeve patch for the 66th Division "Black Panthers" & lapel button as issued. The Luger is 98% Original Finish and all matching, bore is EX nice with sharp rifiling, has 2 magazines one has matching number as the luger with last digit overstamped but diff. letter code the other magazine is not matching. The holster is maker marked Karl Danh Waldbrbl 1939 and Eagle over WaA727 and condition is excellent with all stitching tight and intact and shows great leather patina, includes DWM take down tool in pocket. Grouping 1945 by T/5 Kennith Bridges BTRY B 872 F A BN attached and part of the 66th Division. Their mission in WW2 Europe was to to contain and destroy the enemy in the St. Nazaire and Lorient pockets near La Croix France.
Grouping consist of German Iron Cross 1939 and various medals as pictured and listed as medals on capture papers, pictured sword is not included in the grouping.
