WWI Dated “1917” DWM 1914 Luger NAVY Pistol in 9mm
Description: WWI Dated “1917” DWM 1914 Luger NAVY Pistol in 9mm Long-Barreled Pistol with 200 Yard Sights! Here we present a World War I-Dated Imperial German DWM Luger 1914 Navy Pistol, made in 1917 in Berlin, Germany. Basing his design off Hugo Borchardt’s seminal C93, Georg Luger successfully brought Borchardt’s work to practical and productive fruition. While finding buyers for the C93 seemed an exercise in futility, the new Luger Pistol found many countries eager to test it and adopt it. There are many variations in this field of collecting, but relatively few major changes in overall design from beginning to end. The Luger is certainly one of the most iconic firearms in history, made so by its association with Germany during both World Wars. This Luger 1914 Navy features a 6-inch barrel with a push-button sliding sight that is set for 100 & 200 yards. There are crown and crown “M” German Navy acceptance marks throughout. The overall condition is near fine. 70% of the original blue finish remains. The markings are clear and legible. The numbers on the upper match each other while the numbers on the lower match each other. The grips are in good shape. The bore is sharp and bright. The action is excellent. Here is a great example of an iconic Luger for your collection! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 6 inches. Caliber: 9mm Luger Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $3500 #8708 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
