The Magnum Research MLP-1722 "Picuda" is the pistol version of Magnum Research's MLR-1722, which is effectively an in-house-designed upgraded version of the popular Ruger 10/22 series of firearms. The Magnum Research MLR/MLP firearms are designed to be accurized match/target platforms for serious rimfire enthusiasts. While the MLR was chambered for .22 Long Rifle, .17 HMR, and .22 WMR (a single-shot design), the MLP pistol configuration was only made in .22 Long Rifle and .17 HMR. The MLP-1722 Picuda is an impressive alternative to the Ruger 10/22 Charger. The receiver is a solid one-piece machined block of aluminum with a heavier steel bolt with oversized charging handle. The action on this gun is extremely smooth! The receiver is machined with an integral picatinny rail on the top for attaching various optics. The barrel measures 10" long and is a bull barrel profile made up of stainless steel with a carbon sleeve, cutting an impressive amount of weight for its size. The whole action is housed in a wood forest camo laminate Boyd's stock and can accept any standard Ruger 10/22 magazines. This pistol is in excellent condition, with only a few light handling marks on the stock and a couple finish blemishes on the bolt's surface. The gun includes the original packaging, one 10-round Ruger magazine, user manual, decal, catalog CD, and miscellaneous paperwork. .22 Long Rifle
