Description:
Standard configuration Makarov made 1960, cal 9mmM, with two factory matching magazines. Pistol has fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Full serial number on left side of slide, safety, left side of frame, and in front of trigger guard. Izhevsk Arsenal marking on left side of frame. Import markings as imaged. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star and a lightly added 5 pointed star on backstrap. Two factory matching magazines, numbered on spine, sub-numbered 1 and 2.
Condition:
Bright 95-96% early original blue, considerably lighter/bluer than later production pistols, with comparable condition magazines. Grip with lightly scribed 5 pointed star on backstrap as previously noted. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics with each magazine. A very early Russian military pistol, just begging for a correct holster/cleaning rod.
