Description:
This East German Makarov pistol, manufactured by the Ernst Thaelmann Factory and known as the Pistol M, was manufactured from approximately 1957 until the Reunification of Germany in 1990. This particular gun was manufactured in 1965, as reflected by the date suffixing the SN. Usual boxed "K100" in rectangle in front of slide release. Full serial number on the left side of the slide and frame. Black checkered grips secured with single screw in spine. Unmarked, early Russian style magazine. Complete with black leather holster as issued to the East German Police. No spare magazine. NO IMPORT MARKS!
Condition:
VG-EXC original salt blued finish with holster wear and handling marks in usual places, slight dulling of front strap. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent holster. An attractive and unusual Makarov ensemble that was made in East Germany in 1965. One of very few without import marks!
