The Makarov pistol, also known as the PM, is a Soviet semi-automatic pistol designed by Nikolay Fyodorovich Makarov. It was the standard military and Militsiya sidearm of the Soviet Union starting in 1951.Makarov pistols are known for their simplicity, reliability, and accuracy, which made it a popular gun for both military and civilian use. It features a straight blow back design using 9x18 Makarov cartridge.

Condtion
This Makarov pistol is in fine condition with very little signs of use. It features an adjustable rear sight and front blade sight. There is some slight wear on the nose of the pistol probably from holster wear.The plastic maroon grips showing the Soviet Star are in excellent shape with no cracks or breaks. The pistol comes with one magazine.no box or instructions. Based on the letter code in the serial number I believe that this pistol is a civilian model made in 1960.
