Synopsis:

Attractive Russian Izhevsk Military Makarov Pistol made 1960, cal 9x18mm, in VG-EXC original condition, with factory matching magazine and later scribed-to match magazine. A classic post-WWII military sidearm.

Description:

Standard configuration Russian Makarov with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. SN on left side of slide and frame, the latter followed by the Izhevsk Arsenal marking and manufacturing date of “1960”. Import marked on right side of frame. Plum toned, matching safety. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star. One factory matching magazine, sub-numbered "1"; the second early Russian style magazine with a lightly scribed "2042-2".

Condition:

Bright 95-96% original blue with holster wear in the usual locations, particularly around the muzzle and the right side of the slide. EXC grip with sharp checkering, negligible handling marks. Comparable condition factory matching magazine. Secondary magazine appears as a redip with later hand-scribed numeration. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics with both magazines.
