Beautiful Russian military Makarov, dated 1966, with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Izhevsk Arsenal marking on left side of frame along with manufacturing date of "1966”. Import marked on right side of frame. Early configuration, plum toned, matching safety and two factory matching Russian magazines. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star.
Condition:
99% bright original salt blue with plum colored hammer, extractor, trigger, and safety. Light handling marks as imaged. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics with both magazines. A gorgeous 1966 dated Russian Makarov with 2 factory matching magazines whose appeal could be easily improved by the addition of a correct holster!
