BEAUTIFUL MAUSER C96 BROOMHANDLE
FLATSIDE with STOCK, NEAR MINT
Description: This is a fantastic example of a Large Ring Hammer "flatside" Broomhandke pistol, chambered in 7.63 Mauser and made around 1901. It is in 99% original condition with just a tiny bit of wear on the front of the rails, a couple of spots of peppering on the front grip strap and a few tiny spots on the front of the mag well from being inserted in the stock. There is also usual wear on the back strap from the stock being attached to the gun. The blueing is deep and lustrous. Mint bore(a rarity in these early guns), and excellent condition grips. Everything matches, including grips. Vivid fire blue on small parts with some spotting on the rear sight cursor. The stock is only about 3000 digits off the gun's serial and attaches firmly to to the pistol. It is in excellent shape with a couple of stable hairline cracks with no movement of wood around it. Very few "flatside" Mausers were made compared to the standard model production and this example is one of the best you can get. 3-day inspection FFL or C&R(where legal. $100 shipping in Conus.
