#3763 Mauser C96 Broomhandle Antique Cone Hammer 80% + Blue
This is a very nice and crisp antique C96 Mauser pistol in 7.63 mm Mauser. It retains over 80% original blue finish and straw colors. It has an excellent bright and shinny bore with strong rifling and only a slight amount of very light frosting in the grooves. The mechanical function is excellent, crisp and tight. It is serial number is 11525 and is all matching serial numbers. The grips are 23 grooves and the rear sight is 50-500 meters. This was made in later part of 1897 and has British Proof marks on the bottom of the barrel and the BNP marks on various other parts. This pistol most likely saw action during the Second Boer War.
