"Extremely Rare Turkish Contract Broomhandle Mauser C96 Conehammer (PR70194)

Description:
"Serial number 222 (in Farsi). Made in 1897. 7.63 caliber with a 5 ½" barrel. This is a very rare gun with only a 1000 guns made in this contract and a scarce few that made it over into the USA. These guns were issued to the police force, then used in WWI, then sold as surplus, so very few survived. This gun is in excellent condition as restored. The grips are very good. This is an early model that has the “Conehammer". The left hand side of the frame has the Crest of Sultan Abdul Hamid II and the year 1314 from the Muslim calendar.
