Description:
This is a German C96 broomhandle pistol, manufactured pre-world war 1 in Germany and used by the Chinese as a service pistol. These pistols were very heavily used, and as in many cases where they have not been left in their original state, the barrel has very little rifling left and the blueing is very worn. All parts original with no modifications or alterations. Produced by Mauser from 1896 - 1937 and chambered in 7.63MM Mauser (30 Mauser), the highest velocity commercially made cartridge at the time.This would be a great collector or investment piece, as many of this iconic piece of gun history have been reblued or had the bore redone. This gun comes with a Chinese military leather holster, lined with corduroy.
German inspection stamps and "Waffenfabrik Mauser" stamp on barrel.
