Fabulous Mauser Pre-war Small Ring Bolo C96, all-matching, with long extractor, rare carbine-type rear sight, HR floral grips, mirror bore, and factory-matching Bolo stock!

Scarce pre-World War I Mauser C96 Bolo with 4" barrel, small ring hammer, long extractor, single lug firing pin, rare form 100-1000 graduated rear sight, hard rubber floral grips and factory-matching Bolo stock. Top of chamber marked with the three line Mauser name/address, the full serial number on the left chamber flat, left side of barrel extension with the Crown/Crown/U proof, the right side with the antler proof. Right side of the frame with the two line Mauser address. Import marked on the left frame by Von Langerke & Detmold New York. This all matching example, externally and internally to include the firing pin and each of the hand-scribed grips, has the rare carbine-type rear sight with a centrally grooved cursor, the sight bar centerline extending into the barrel extension. No lanyard ring. Complete with factory matching pre-war Bolo stock, the lid notched for a LR hammer, the lug with the full factory-matching serial number.

Condition:

Pistol with 99% bright original rust blue, the fire blued parts with approximately 80% of their original heat temper, spotting and sharp edge wear in the usual locations, comparable condition strawed trigger, excellent hard rubber panels. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Factory matching stock has had the wood components refinished, excellent original metal fittings with fading over the upper arm of the stock lug as carefully imaged. Stock fits pistol well when attached, minimal wobble, and closes over the pistol properly.
