This Mauser byf 42 (1942) 9mm Parabellum caliber P.08 pistol comes with a holster, spare magazine, and takedown/loading key. The toggle is marked byf and the chamber date is 42. It has checkered walnut grips and eagle over 135 inspection/acceptance marks. The 4"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 90% blue overall with the grip straps turning brown. The right side of the slide has two eagle over 135 inspection/acceptance stamps followed by the eagle test fire proof. The frame is marked P.08 on the left side near the safety. There are also inspection stamps on the barrel and lower left of the breechblock. The unnmubered checkered walnut grips are fine with light wear. All parts, including the firing pin, have matching numbers. The correctly unnumbered blued fxo and P.08 marked magazine is good with a small dent on the bottom left. The action functions properly. The black holster is very good. It is marked on the rear WILH. BRAND over HEIDELBERG with 1936 to the right and an eagle acceptance stamp below. The spare blued plastic base magazine is unmarked. The takedown/loading tool is inspected.
