Offered here for sale and newly acquired from a most prestigious collection is this WWII vintage German Mauser Model 1934 .32 auto pistol. The Mauser Model 1934 is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning) and was produced primarily by Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. Oberndorf a/N in Germany. It evolved from the earlier Model 1914 and was adopted in various forms for both civilian and military use.. The pistol is .32 caliber and has an 8 round magazine. A 3.4” and fine checkered walnut grips. The production period was from1934–1945.
The Model 1934 was adopted by multiple Nazi-era organizations, including the Kriegsmarine (German Navy), Luftwaffe, Gestapo, and other state or police entities. Though not the standard sidearm of the Wehrmacht (which was primarily the Walther P.38 and Luger P08), the Mauser  in the WWII wartime production era, most likely around late 1940 to early 1941.During this period, many of these pistols were being diverted from civilian/commercial markets for military and police use.
This pistol has seen very little IF ANY USE and retains 99%+ original deep blue finish. It has a mint bore, all matching numbers, appears unused grips and in addition comes with a  rare 1938 instruction manual. This is an exceptional collector-grade example. Most surviving Mauser 1934 pistols show significant wear, as they were used extensively in service or postwar.
