P.08 Mauser (BYF) 42 Luger chambered in 9 mm. The left of the barrel extension is marked "8041", the chamber ring is marked "42". The top of the toggle is marked byf. The mark "41" is found on the trigger plate, toggle pin, rear toggle, front toggle, sear bar, take down lever, and safety lever. The extractor is marked "42". The front of the frame is marked "8041 / y" and the bottom of the barrel is marked "8,83". The left side of the blued magazine is marked "fxo", eagle/37 and "P.08" on the left of the body and the base is black Bakelite. The front sight dovetailed serrated blade. The rear sight is a "V"-notch integral to the rear toggle link. The grips are a two piece checkered Bakelite with a smooth boarder and no internal markings. This is serial number "8041" with (SKU: 5041613). There is second "BYF 42" sold separately with a consecutive serial number "8040" with (SKU: 5041615). 9mm Largo

Metal Condition: Rates about 55% with high edge wear and finish loss on the surfaces. The front and rear strap shows finish loss. The finish on the top of the gun shows a better finish condition than the rest of the gun.
Wood Condition: The Bakelite grips rate about 95% with no chips or cracks.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with well-defined rifling with no corrosion or pitting.
Barrels: 4" barrel.
