Description:
This is a great example of a 1941 P.08 Mauser (BYF) Luger chambered in 9 mm. The left of the barrel extension is marked "9413", the chamber ring is marked "41" and the right side has two eagle/655 waffenamts and a Swastika Eagle. The top of the toggle is marked "byf /13". The mark "13" is found on the trigger plate, toggle pin, rear toggle, front toggle, extractor, sear bar, take down lever, and safety lever. The left side of the bolt is marked with a Swastika Eagle. The front of the frame is marked "9413 / r", the left frame flat is marked "P.08". The bottom of the barrel is marked "9413 / 8,81", the right-rear of the barrel has a Swastika Eagle mark and the left has an eagle over "655" waffenamt. The left side of the blued magazine is marked "fxo", eagle/37 and "P.08" on the left of the body, the floorplate is marked "9413 r".The second magazine has a silver body with a wood base marked "5302" with a plus "+" for spare magazine. The front sight dovetailed serrated blade. The rear sight is a "V"-notch integral to the rear toggle link. The grips are two piece checkered wood. The holster is marked on the left rear "gxy-41" for "Lederwarenfabrik Gebr - Klinge of Dresden-Loebtau", then a Swastika Eagle and "WbA 708". The holster is marked "P08" on the right back side. 9mm Parabellum

Metal Condition: Rates about 85% with minor wear on the high edges. The front and rear strap shows minor finish loss. No corrosion or pitting.
Wood Condition: The wood grips rate about 98% with light compression on the checkering. No chips or cracks.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. No corrosion or pitting.
Barrels: 4" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Sights: Drift adjustable front with a fixed rear.
