MAUSER 06/34 SWISS BANNER
Description: 30 Luger; 97% blue, 90% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, 4.75'' barrel, Manufactured by Mauser, part of the third group of pistols made for the Swiss market in a serial range 3600v-3900v. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching. The grips are not numbered and the magazine is a blue finish sheet steel variation with an unmarked aluminum bottom. The top of the toggle is stamped with the Mauser banner with 7 lines. The top of the chamber is stamped with the Swiss Cross in Sunburst crest. Eagle/N proofs appear on the end of the front sight base, left side of the receiver and left side of the breechbolt indicating it was shipped in 1940. The left side of the barrel is lightly stamped Kal. 7,65. The left side of the extractor is marked GELADEN and the safety area on the left side of the toggle housing is unmarked, the safe setting area left in the white. Condition: The metal finish shows some minor sharp edge wear, the grip straps show slight thinning and some handling. The straw finish on the small parts is uniform overall, the front corners of the trigger having some thinned straw color. The grips have a few minor handling marks, the checkering remains sharp. Mechanically fine with a bright sharp bore. Rig, includes a commercial military style full flap leather holster complete with shoulder strap. The holster is in very good intact original condition, with a maker logo oMe inside a triangle on the back. Inside the flap is a name written in ink along with the gun serial number.
