Left side of slide marked with the single line Mauser address in capital letters. Full serial number appears on the left side of the slide and back of frame. The last few digits repeated on the left side of the barrel lug and under the sideplate. Crown/Crown/U proofing on rear of slide behind sight and on the right side of the barrel lug.
