Description:
Late Configuration Mauser Banner Eagle L Police, drilled but not provisioned with sear safety, with two matching magazines and matching-dated military holster SN: 6264y. Cal. 9mmP. Standard configuration 1942 Mauser Banner Police with 4” barrel, drift front sight and fixed "V" notch rear sight. 1942 dated chamber. Mauser banner on first toggle link. Full serial number on forward frame and repeated on left receiver. Eagle L marking on right receiver. All small parts are matched “64” except the grips that are not numbered but struck with inspection letters. Two matching magazines marked with the full serial number and “1” and “2” referencing the first and second matching magazines. NO IMPORT MARKS! Complete with a standard military holster marked "P.08", manufacturer coded, and dated 1942. No takedown tool.
Condition:
Approximately 95% bright original salt blue with holster wear in the expected places. Comparable condition grips, very sharp checkering with a few minor losses. VG+ magazines, "1" in better condition than "2". Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics with each magazine. VG holster that has been black polished/dyed. A very attractive 1942 dated Mauser Banner Police rig, unusual in having been drilled but not provisioned for a sear safety.
