Description:
The Mauser Model HS.c was designed in 1940 as a primary competitor to the Walther Model PP, it was widely purchased by the German Navy, Army and police forces. This example bears the Eagle 655 on the left side of the trigger guardand Eagle N on the right, meaning that it was likely made for the German Army (Heer). The slide however has been scrubbed and re finished, resulting in the loss of much of the markings. Overall condition is fair, with what appears to be a broken spring in the safety, disabling the trigger unless held upside down, as well as cracked grip panels.
